How To Find Latest Occurrence of a Condition?

Hi folks,

Related to a similar question I asked a few years ago (How to Find a Patient's Most Recent Condition?), a new question that I had is this:

Suppose I have an ATLAS definition and a concept set. I want to define a cohort within ATLAS such that the cohort start date is the latest condition_occurrence matching to my concept set. How do I do this?

Specifically, what I am trying to do is to use the following definition I have here: ATLAS to find the latest myocardial infarction event that occurs per patient.

Any thoughts or tweaks I should do here? I feel like I am close but missing a step or two somewhere in my ATLAS definition.

Thanks!

We love your persistence, @TheCedarPrince. 3 years and you never gave up.

Well, just like you pick “earliest event” at the prompt “Limit initial events to:”, you pick “latest event”.

But I am sure you were aware of that. What’s wrong, why doesn’t it give you what you need?
