When OMOP doesn't vocabulary include survey question

Hi, all
I and @Jaehyeong_Cho are converting Korean National Health Insurance System (NHIS) sample cohort DB into CDM.
NHIS-sample cohort DB contains results from biennial health examination.

About exercise survey, the DB contains three questions below:

  1. How many days per week on average have you engated in strenuous exercise more than 20
  2. How many days per week on average have you engated in moderate exercise more than 30 minutes
  3. How many days per week on average have you engaged in walking more than 30 minutes

I cannot find appropriate concept_id in OMOP vocabulary corresponding to these survey questions. Do you have any idea how I can convert these results into CDM, when OMOP vocabulary doesn’t include survey question?

@SCYou:

Is this a standardized survey? 3 questions only?

Thank you for response , @Christian_Reich

Korean government provides free biennial examination for those who are older than 40. The DB contains the result from it. So, it is sort of standardized survey (only in Korea).

There are many questions. I found concept_ids for other survey questions. But I cannot find concept_ids for these 3 questions…

@SCYou:

You can find the other questions? Can you show them?

Reason I am asking is: If there is a fixed set of questions and answers we can add them. I just don’t want to do this one by one.

Dear @Christian_Reich,

Sorry for answering late.
Thank you for your suggestion!

I’ll summarize the questions of original survey and how we do the ETL of these survey, and show you.
(I think this work will take about 1~2 weeks)

Thank you!!
