Weekly OHDSI Digest-31May2021

WEEKLY MEETINGS

Please join us this Tuesday, June 1, (11 am ET) for our next OHDSI Community Call, when we will take a mid-year look at Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) throughout the OHDSI Community. Patrick Ryan will lead this call and will provide a mid-year update on various workgroups within our community in relation to their own OKRs. Patrick discussed general OKRs for OHDSI during our first community call of 2021, which is available here.

Many of you will have the calendar link in your OHDSI Teams environment. If not, you will need the specific meeting link to access the community call; it will also be posted in the main OHDSI Teams environment. As always, if you can’t make it, the recordings will be posted to both our Community Calls page and the General OHDSI Teams recordings folder.

The next APAC Community Call will be this Thursday/Wednesday, and the focus will be APAC Network Research. Byungkon Kang will present on Automated terminology mapping via deep learning-based semantic matching, while Ty Stanford will present on the LEGEND Shiny App. The APAC Community Calls are held in MS Teams; if you don’t have access to this team, please fill out this form.

The most recent Asia-Pacific (APAC) Community Call featured 10-minute tutorials that have now been posted to the APAC Community Call page. The tutorials focused on White Rabbit (Xialin Wang), USAGI (Seng Chan You) and Data Quality Dashboard (Selva Muthu Kumaran Sathappan). Due to technical issues, the DQD video ended prematurely; we apologize for not having the full tutorial.
