Vocab Request - Early Breast Cancer classifications

Hello all,

This is my first time requesting vocab updates, so I apologize if I’ve missed anything or posted in the wrong place. I am working on an early breast cancer RWE database. I’m having trouble finding the correct concept_ids to map certain terms.

Sataloff and Chevalier staging are widely used to assess the response of breast cancer to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

  • Sataloff’s classification :

    • Primary breast tumor (Sataloff T) => TA, TB, TC or TD
      • TA: total or almost total therapeutic effect
      • TB: therapeutic effect of more than 50% but not total
      • TC: less than 50% therapeutic effect
      • TD: no therapeutic effect
  • Axillary lymph nodes (Sataloff N) => NA, NB, NC or ND

    • NA: evidence of a therapeutic effect, no residual disease
    • NB: no metastasis or therapeutic effect
    • NC: evidence of a therapeutic effect but axillary metastasis still present
    • ND: axillary metastasis still present and viable and no therapeutic effect
  • Chevallier classification => Grade 1, 2, 3 or 4

    • Grade 1 : Absence of any tumor cells histologically, and no axillary metastasis
    • Grade 2 : Presence of carcinoma in situ in the breast, without invasive tumor cells AND no axillary metastasis
    • Grade 3: Presence of residual carcinoma cells with stromal alterations such as sclerosis and fibrosis
    • Grade 4 : Little or no changes in the appearance of the tumor

Has anyone faced the same issue ? Do you have any suggestions to map these terms ?

Thank you!
