I have a question about the scope of observation in the PLP package.
When feature extraction packages extracts features from the cohort for the target patient with and without outcome occurrence, which period does this package use for extraction features?
For example, if you want to predict patients starting anti-depressant drug might have MI later or not, does this package pick the all variables between antidepressant starting and MI occurrence? Then, which period does this package use for the patients without outcome occurrence? Does it use whole period after starting antidepressant?

HI Chan,
The feature extraction package will extra data
prior to the index date as defined by the Target cohort (depression in our POC) so this is not dependent on occurence of the outcome.
