Validation set- How can I identify COVID19 patients?

Hi,

In the COVID19 prediction models (for complications), which were trained on flu/flu like patients- how can I find out about validation set based on COVID19 patients?
I know HIRA is a COVID19 patients data set, but is it the only one?
Is there any index with details?

@Karni - there’s many data partners in the OHDSI network who are working through COVID-19 study packages and sharing results.

@RossW and @jennareps are managing the PLP workstream. They can keep you posted as more results are shared across the network.

I am searching for validation of the models that were trained and tested on Flu patients, but COVID19 patients validation and don’t know how to distinguish among the data sets, how to recognize the COVID19 validation
(I am a physician and no an AI expert :slight_smile: )

When you are going to identify a covid 19 patient, then You have to go through with these symptoms

Symptoms :

  • fever or cough

  • shortness of breath

  • fatigue

  • muscle pain

  • body aches

  • headache

  • new loss of taste or smell

  • sore throat

  • congestion or runny nose

  • vomiting

  • diarrhoea.
