Does anyone have perspectives on the use or
performance of Synapse or Azure SQL (SQL server)? We have to pick one to go with for an Azure project, but weren’t sure which is preferable.

I don’t. However, it would be valuable if we had a benchmark to evaluate availability, performance, and cost across various query/compute options.
