Standardised vocabulary depression

Hi all,

I’m planning to leverage OHDSI to perform an analysis of the treatment-resistant depression (TRD) population in the US. Being new to the OHDSI community, I still have some basic questions about the vocabularies surrounding depression. Does the OMOP CDM standardize the results from patient-reported questionnaires such as MADRS and PHQ-6? Is it possible to compare clinical outcomes of patients whose EMRs are located in disparate databases that use different questionnaires?

Some resources to get you started:

The questions/answers are standardised using the LOINC vocabulary, for instance 'Feeling tired or having little energy in last 2 weeks.frequency [Reported PHQ-9 CMS]’.
Also take a look at the (recently added) survey conduct table: https://github.com/OHDSI/CommonDataModel/wiki/survey_conduct
To compare questionaires you would have to link them somehow. e.g. by creating an Atlas concept set in which you combine multiple similar questionnaire concepts.
