@Dymshyts, @aostropolets, or @Christian_Reich,

Is the “Specialty” vocabulary (Medicare provider/supplier specialty codes (CMS)) date specific (like DRG or NDC)?

I want to use 38004462-Hospice And Palliative Care however it is now invalid and I don’t see a replacement. Can I still use it even though the INVALID_REASON = ‘D’?

I’m asking until this broader thing gets solved:

There is a concept that is similar: 45756777 Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Don’t you want use it instead?
A crosswalk to nucc also exists, but you need the actual speciality information like “Allopathic & Osteopathic Physicians/Surgery/Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Family Practice”.
