What is the rationale behind standard concepts being mapped to themselves with the relationship Non-standard to Standard map and the reverse?
Convenience for the ETLer. You don’t have to worry if you have a non-standard or a standard concept, you just throw the mapping relationship at it and write the resulting concept into the table. Also, sometimes a standard maps to itself and in addition to something else.
