Policies on pull requests / new contributions?

I recently finished an investigational project as part of a course on big data in healthcare. As part of this I’ve been monkeying around with Achilles (Analytics, not Web) quite a lot, and I was curious to know if some of my tests and so forth could be of use to the community.

How do contributions to these projects generally go? Is there a set procedure or contributor guidelines anywhere, or is it OK to just make a pull request and discuss?

That’s great! I am not aware of any published formal contributor guidelines for Achilles. Therefore I would suggest that you just create a PR and start a productive conversation with the other developers in the comments. @Frank @Patrick_Ryan please correct me if I am wrong here.

Angela,

@t_abdul_basser is correct in that there isn’t a formal process for contributions. Opening a pull request to start or a thread on the forums is usually enough to start the discussion and ultimately lead to our working toward integrating community features, feedback or suggestions. We also have bi-weekly architecture meetings that also serve as a forum for these discussions. You can find details on the architecture call schedule here:
