Tomorrow (Jan 8th @9am ET) will be the first PLP workgroup meeting for the year! During this call we will review and reflect on the 2024 OKRs and discuss what our focus will be in 2025.
Tomorrow (Feb 12th @9am ET) we will have an exciting presentation from @Jared on the topic “End-to-End Workflow for Integrating GIS-Specific Data into Patient-Level Prediction Models”.
For next week’s workgroup meeting (March 12th @10am ET – please note this is 1 hour later than normal for the US) we will be having a discussion on some exciting research projects being started or implemented by collaborators in this workgroup. We already have five projects to discuss but please make sure to voice any other research ideas you would like the group to start working on.
We have an exciting presentation for the next workgroup meeting (April 9th @ 9am ET). Sahar Hanifi will be presenting the topic “30-Day MALE and MACE Prediction Model for Infrainguinal Bypass Surgery Patients.”.
The next workgroup meeting, (May 14th @ 9am ET) is cancelled due to the holidays.
We will be meeting next on June 11th.
The next meeting of the PLP working group (July) will be cancelled as we are at the OHDSI Europe symposium!
This month’s PLP working group meeting (Sept 10th @ 9am ET) will be a discussion to see who will be attending the OHDSI symposium and ideas for projects to work on and social activities to do while at the symposium.
As decided at today’s meeting, we will hold in-person group meetings during the 2025 OHDSI Symposium. We will meet for lunch (12:00-1:00 PM) on Wednesday, October 8th, and (potentially) have some socials that evening.
If you’d like to participate, please leave a comment in the Teams channel. Please also let me know your preference on where we’ll be having lunch on Wednesday, October 8th. We could consider a conference-hosted buffet or a nice restaurant outside. Thank you.
At this month’s PLP Working Group meeting (November 11th at 9 AM ET), we’ll hear a presentation from Matthew B.A. McDermott, Assistant Professor at Columbia University. He will discuss his paper, “A Closer Look at AUROC and AUPRC Under Class Imbalance.”
