The Oncology WG has developed the oncology extension model to represent oncology data as precisely as possible through the OMOP CDM. The goal of this effort is to standardize the oncology vocabulary and perform oncology related research and studies. For this effort, partners with Claims or EHR data will need to algorithmically derive certain information like regimens/cycles in order to be able to populate the Episode table and the appropriate fields. We are calling for participants to implemented an algorithm that identifies oncology regimens through the drug_era and drug_exposure tables.
