I wanted to make everybody aware of a new study that was just published Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine: “Comparison of Cardiovascular and Safety Outcomes of Chlorthalidone vs Hydrochlorothiazide to Treat Hypertension” This is the second LEGEND study published in a high-impact journal, following The Lancet hypertension study from the fall.
There is an OHDSI release available now on our web site and social channels, but as always, it would be great if you could share with your respective networks. The release is available here. The more we share each other’s successes, the more people will pay attention to our community overall.
If anybody has similar studies about to come out (or even a month or two away), please keep me in mind, either to share on social channels or to work on a press release for it. We have put together a variety of stories on community achievements that you can find on our News Updates page.
