Microsoft Pipeline for OMOP CDM – Real-World Experience?

Hey everyone,

I have a feeling this might be a bit of a contentious topic, but here goes—has anyone used Microsoft’s pipeline to populate the OMOP CDM? They provide a FHIR feed via Microsoft Fabric, and while it looks great on paper, I’m curious if anyone has real-world experience with it.

Would love to hear any insights—pros, cons, pitfalls?

Hi Roger. CC’ing @Vojtech_Huser here. Vojtech, I know we were starting some conversation with Microsoft Fabric implementers, but I don’t remember if you ever tried out the Microsoft FHIR to Fabric pipe?

Roger, I’ve previously been in conversations where limitations are discussed, but these have thus far not had documented sources for such assessments. Just word of mouth!
