Dear everyone,
I’m working on a project mapping surgical data into the OMOP CDM.
The dataset contains information on postoperative complications with a Clavien-Dindo grade.
We’d like to make sure each Clavien-Dindo grading refers to a specific complication, e.g. a ‘Clavien-Dindo classification of surgical complications’ grade 3b refers to a ‘Wound dehiscence’.
Does anyone know a best-practice way to ensure a link between the concepts is kept during mapping?
