Mapping French drug codes to ODSDI supported vocabularies (RxNorm, etc)

Is anyone aware of any open-source mappings between French drugs codes like (CIS, CIP, UCD), and more international or US drug entity vocabularies like RxNorm?

Hi !
We found mapping between UCD+CIP13 to ATC, and in OHDSI vocabularies, there are mapping from ATC to RxNorm

There are two things here.

  1. Right now, we have an official French drug vocabulary in OMOP - BDPM (http://base-donnees-publique.medicaments.gouv.fr/telechargement.php). Among other codes, it has CIP13 and CIP7 like codes, which can be used to get mappings from your source vocabulary to RxNorm.
This approach gains better coverage and better granularity than using ATCs. I can either show how to do that or give you the mappings from your source files.
  2. If you want a vocabulary to be added to OMOP so that you will have all the mappings. handy, submit a request on GitHub (https://github.com/OHDSI/Vocabulary-v5.0) and we will add it.
