LOCATION_HISTORY alternative?

Hello,

I noticed that most of the details about the location_history table at OMOP CDM v6.0 have been removed. I know that v6.0 was never supported but I’m wondering it there are plans to add location_history (or another way to capture changes in the person’s residence over time) into the next version of the CDM?

Hi @Alison_Park,

The OHDSI GIS Workgroup has an upcoming meeting for a proposal to the CDM WG for an extension table for storing transformed place-related (geospatial) data.

This work relies on the use of the location_history table, so part of the proposal will be to reinstate location_history in the next CDM release.
