Local OMOP Support Boilerplate given NIH Funding Cuts

Good afternoon OHDSI community,

In light of recent NIH funding cuts, I assume many of us are in a position that requires some form of justification of continued operational support of our OMOP instance locally. Assuming this was the case, I pushed some general boilerplate argument and current productivity of an OMOP instance, including current and future need categories that were summed up based on our local participation.

In true OHDSI fashion, the following document and repo are very much open to collaboration, critique, utilization, and straight-up deprecation of the idea if the community should so will it.

@MPhilofsky , @hspence , @roger.carlson , @samart3 , and @Andy_Kanter from Healthcare Systems Interest Group, certainly wondering about your thoughts and the thoughts on this type of initiative from those working in AMC’s and regional healthcare spaces.
