Laboratory inspection item mapping

I would like to ask you a question. Recently I encountered a problem with the mapping of laboratory inspection items in the etl program.
There is a laboratory inspection item in a hospital-red blood cell distribution width [red blood cell distribution width]. When I search for standard concepts through athena, if I search by name only, I can match the standard concepts in a field under observation

If the domain is limited to Measurement, then a different standard concept can be matched

If you continue to limit the conceptClass, the name of the laboratory inspection item cannot be completely matched. The following two records may meet the requirements
Red blood cell distribution width [Ratio] [Red blood cell distribution width [ratio]]
Red blood cell distribution width [entity volume] [Red blood cell distribution width [entity volume]]

So the question is how to choose between the laboratory inspection items and the standard concept in this case

Hi @UltraXiaoZi! Why are Erythrocyte distribution width [Ratio] or Erythrocyte distribution width [Entitic volume] not good matches? I guess you would need to be precise enough to know which one of the two matches the actual lab values you’re getting.

Alternatively you could use Red blood cell distribution width, which would go in the observation table, probably because it is not precise enough.

You may want to post this on the forums in general. I’m no expert in lab value mapping.

Yes, I just discovered that if you want to accurately match the laboratory inspection items, you need to combine the corresponding units. Red blood cell distribution width [Ratio] corresponds to laboratory examination unit %, Red blood cell distribution width [Entitic volume] corresponds to laboratory examination unit f1.
My problem has been solved, thanks for your hint.
