We will soon post a sign-up form to join this year’s Scientific Review Committee for the 2026 OHDSI Symposium which will take place Oct. 20-22 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, N.J.
This committee is an integral part of the symposium planning process as the community relies upon its peers for submission admittance into the highly esteemed Collaborator Showcase.
To join the committee, these are the responsibilities and tasks (subject to change):
- Join an introductory committee call to discuss the brief report submission form and process. This meeting will take place on Thursday, March 5th at 11am ET (if you cannot join, you can review the recording)
- Commit to review approx. 10-20 brief report submissions (based on # of members and submission totals received)
- Provide productive criticism and feedback for all reviews; feedback must be in paragraph form with constructive detail.
- Commit to the review timeframe which is June 11- July 6 (it is crucial to adhere to all deadlines)
- Join a 2-hour review call to discuss final acceptances; scheduled for Thursday, July 9th at 11am ET (again, if you cannot attend, we will provide an alternative method for your participation).
- Perform other symposium tasks if required such as moderating sessions or providing poster walks.
