Issue with Vocabulary Download

Hello,

I noticed that the vocabulary download is truncating the concept names. For example:

Concept Details:

  • concept_id: 35943622
  • concept_name: Local recurrence of an
  • domain_id: Meas Value
  • vocabulary_id: NAACCR
  • concept_class_id: NAACCR Value
  • standard_concept: S
  • concept_code: 1880@16

The full name for this concept is “Local recurrence of an in situ tumor,” but it appears to be truncated in the downloaded CONCEPT.csv.

Seems like this issue occurred during the very first integration of NAACCR into the OMOP vocabs.
Currently, NAACCR is out of the roadmap and the Vocabulary team does not plan any improvement in it. However, you can talk to the Oncology WG and implement these fixes as a part of the Community Contribution.
