As part of the 2019 OHDSI Symposium, the Women of OHDSI group will be hosting a leadership forum which is set to take place from 6-8pm on Sunday, September 15th at the Bethesda North Marriott in North Bethesda, MD.
An opening reception will start at 6pm. The leadership forum will start at 6:30, during which time we’ll hear from female leaders in the field of Real-World Analytics. Our speakers are:
- Noémie Elhadad, PhD, Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University Medical Center
- Violanda Grigorescu, MD, MSPH, Chief, Partnerships and Evaluation Branch in the Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- Janet Woodcock, MD, Director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) at the Food and Drug Administration
- Joanne Waldstreicher, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Johnson & Johnson
After the talks and a short Q&A session, coffee and dessert will be available for attendees.
This is an open event, hosted by the Women of OHDSI group. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome and encouraged to join us.
