Introduction & Proposed Study on Sézary Syndrome Treatment Patterns

Hi all!

My name is Sam Fisch, and I am a PhD student in epidemiology at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. I work within the newly formed Pharmacoepidemiology and Health Outcomes Center and am excited to integrate my work into the OHDSI community (I recently attended the OHDSI summer session, which was very fun!).

Our center collaborates with numerous pharmaceutical partners, and a project I am aiming to initiate is a characterization study of treatment patterns used among patients with Sézary Syndrome. Sézary syndrome, a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, is rare and would likely benefit from a network study to increase patient numbers and enhance generalizability. Our interest is in all cutaneous T-cell lymphomas, although our focus is Sézary syndrome.

I am eager to collaborate to get the project rolling and to make it more impactful. I have access to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s data as well as its associated University medical centers, Columbia and Cornell.

Thanks!
