Inactive concepts in HERMES

Hi all,

It seems that HERMES is including inactive SNOMED CT concepts. For example, Nausea NOS was inactivated in the January 31, 2007 release.

Is this a feature or a bug?

This is working as intended. We currently allow exploration to all concepts, active and inactive. We support filtering related concept by status (invalid/valid). Do you think we should have an indicator on the concept screen so you know if you are looking at an invalid concept?

That would be good. Maybe it may even make sense to grey them out a bit, or so. Because people usually don’t think about the valid stuff. Even I keep forgetting, from time to time.
