In the Synpuf 1M data set, what does the Signal_ref file means?

I have downloaded the 1m patients data set and in the folder I could see that there is a file called signal_ref, what data is in that file? if anyone can help me understanding that file, would be really helpful. As I am new to OHDSI and OMOP data set, I’d appreciate any help on this topic.
