Hosting a mini OMOP CDM Database with a data extract for research purposes

Context: The university I am working with in my research prefers to provide data exports from their OMOP CDM database, rather than allowing for the use of something like a Strategus JSON.

We have been approved and they are in the process of exporting the data for our research purposes.

Here is my question: I want to use HADES and Strategus, so it was recommended to me that I host a small separate sever with just our exported dataset in the OMOP CDM format. I have no experience in building, hosting, or running servers/databases—my only experience is in statistical analysis. How would you go about this if you were in my shoes?

Also, has anyone had to do something similar to this for their research? Are there any recommended approaches or best practices or tips?

Thanks in advance!

Put the OMOP shaped data to a postgres database.
