We are preparing our source data for mapping to the OMOP CDM and would appreciate guidance on how to represent immigration and emigration records. Should these events be captured in the observation table, using the observation_concept_id to specify the type of migration event? We already use emigration records to define the observation_period_end_date in the observation_period table but would like to record all migration events if possible. Thank you!
