Forum, Teams Channel, Github issues : which to pick?

Hi,

OHDSI newbie here. I’m following a bunch of tutorials and reading documentation to understand the CDM and I have lots of questions. But what is the preferred way for interaction ? I’ve come accross this forum, but have also asked to join specific Team groups. I’ve seen we can also report things in the github pages…

There’s likely many answers to this, but my 2 cents:

  1. Raise bugs/errors or detailed enhancement requests in GitHub issues
  2. To discuss / troubleshoot issues more high level with the full OHDSI audience, Forums
  3. For more targeted groups of users to discuss strategy, Teams
  4. If you’re feeling ultra nerdy and adventurous, Discord
