Exciting progress in Korea

Hi all: @schuemie, @msuchard and I are having a wonderful time with @rwpark, @yoon8302, @SCYou and the Ajou University team for the OHDSI Symposium in Korea.

Quite timely, I just saw @rwpark’s recent publication, which provides a nice advocacy for the OHDSI approach: https://synapse.koreamed.org/search.php?where=aview&id=10.4258/hir.2017.23.1.1&code=1088HIR&vmode=FULL

It’s great to see all of the progress here in Korea in establishing a national network of hospital centers and national claims data, and I’m glad the team continues to be such an active leader for our international community. Great work @rwpark and team!

Thanks to @Patrick_Ryan, @msuchard and @schuemie for visiting Korea and providing key notes and tutorials. About 150 people attended the symposium and about 35 participants joined in the tutorial. Thank you for your efforts to make this symposium a great success!

I don’t want to spam but just to say congratulations to Rae and his group on the international symposium! George
