EHDEN Academy OMOP CDM Course - Final Exam Answers seem incorrect

Hi all,

I recently attmpeted the final exam for EHDEN Academy OMOP CDM course and miserably failed :slight_smile:

Upon reviewing the answers I found quite a few questions that seemed to have incorrect ‘correct answers’, for example:

(not sure if the numbers are randomised per attempt)
6. Which fields are required in the PERSON table? (Check all that apply)
"The correct answers are: PERSON_ID, YEAR_OF_BIRTH, GENDER_CONCEPT_ID, GENDER_SOURCE_CONCEPT_ID, RACE_CONCEPT_ID, RACE_SOURCE_CONCEPT_ID, ETHNICITY_CONCEPT_ID, ETHNICITY_SOURCE_CONCEPT_ID
"

But according to the CDM spec the xx_source_concept_IDs are not noted as required - screenshot of ethnicity_source_concept_id below, where the column after ‘integer’ is the ‘required’ column

Am I missing something or perhaps the exam is NOT based on CDM v5.4?

Hi, thank you so much for calling this out. As you identified, the EHDEN academy course was originally targeted to CDM v5.3. Since we created this course some of the required fields changed but those changes did not make it to the course test. I apologize for the issue.
