During Thursday’s Rare Disease WG’s meeting on December 11th at 10am EST, I will be presenting my work, “Maximizing EHR Semantic Meaning for Rare Diseases Utilizing a Direct Mapping Strategy”.
EHRs have richer, more detailed condition data, but the granularity is lost when mapping the interface terminology to ICD and SNOMED. During the Rare Disease WG meeting, I’ll discuss alternative mapping strategies to reduce granularity loss.
