In support of the OMOP + FHIR WG, we want to encourage you and your organization to participate in the upcoming HL7 January 2025 Ballot cycle and join the consensus pool for the HL7 VULCAN FHIR to OMOP Implementation Guide
We appreciate the support of more than 100 individuals 
since June of this year that helped establish a comprehensive, consensus-driven guide for data transformation from FHIR resources to OMOP representing core EHR data elements.
Here’s how you or your organization can contribute:
- Join the Ballot Pool Enrollment opens today (November 18, 2024) and closes on December 19, 2024. By joining the ballot pool, you or your organization can directly influence the final version of this Implementation Guide, which is crucial for advancing standardized data mapping and interoperability between FHIR and OMOP.
- Vote for the Implementation Guide
The voting period will run from December 20, 2024, to January 20, 2025. Every vote counts, so you or your organization’s participation will be instrumental in moving this guide forward.
