We’re inviting the OHDSI community to ballot on the Vulcan FHIR to OMOP Implementation Guide (IG)—a foundational standard that connects the two most influential data models in healthcare.
Why it matters
This IG delivers FHIR‑to‑OMOP Logical Models, StructureMaps, and pragmatic, hands‑on implementer guidance, enabling you to:
- Transform data uniformly with minimal information loss
- Accelerate observational research and real‑world‑evidence generation with FHIR
- Cut costs and time through faster, more consistent ETL pipelines
Developed by 100 + contributors from 70 + organizations across academia, government, industry, and many of YOU, the guide reflects a truly global collaboration.
