Sajjan Madappady and I of EPAM (formerly Odysseus!) want to give a training at this year’s Global Symposium on fundamental RWE/pharmacoepidemiological principles, how they are embodied in OHDSI, and how to implement them through an introductory ATLAS demo.
I submitted our application before the deadline, but it would appear that I got ahead of myself - the indefatigable Vojta Huser pointed out that we need another training collaborator from outside of our institution. (Apologies for all the times I wrote ‘detail oriented’ on my CV when applying for jobs…)

I feel that giving this workshop could be a great opportunity for people relatively experienced in OHDSI/OMOP to explain foundational principles to beginners, plus a little extra RWE theory.
