Broad See questions

Hi @lee_evans and @msuchard,

Thanks for the nice presentation last week on the docker solution with Broadsee.

I have couple of questions:

  1. I searched on the github and on the OHDSI site for an instruction manual on how to try this out. Where can I find this? I see some minimal instructions for Mac only.
  2. If i understood well the OHDSI R packages are bundled in the docker file. These packages are sometimes still in development and need to be updated or you want to install additional R packages etc. Is this possible in such a R Studio Docker environment or do I loose the new packages after I restart docker or with the next OHDSI docker update? Is there some information available about this? I suppose you can link to a package folder outside docker?

Thanks.

Peter

Hi @Rijnbeek

The initial version of OHDSI Broadsea has been released today.

  1. See the “Quick Start Broadsea Deployment” section of the Broadsea documentation
  2. See the “Sharing/Saving files between RStudio and Docker host machine” section of the Broadsea documentation.

Broadsea is still under development. If you have additional questions about Broadsea please post them to the OHDSI forum.

Lee
