Atlas/WebAPI 2.8 Released

We are pleased to announce that the 2.8.0 release of Atlas and WebAPI have been formally released on github. You can find the release notes at the following links:

Atlas: https://github.com/OHDSI/Atlas/releases/tag/v2.8.0
WebAPI: https://github.com/OHDSI/WebAPI/releases/tag/v2.8.0

Important note: The 2.8 line of WebAPI will be the last release to support Oracle and MS Sql as the WebAPI database platform. (Note CDM databases are not impacted by this). So, for future major/minor releases, you will need to install a Postgres instance. We can look into community driven support for other platforms, but going forward official support will be limited to Postgresql for WebAPI.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this release. We’ve made great progress on squashing bugs and implementing new features, too many to list here, but please check the release notes for notable changes and migration information.

The second link does not work for some reasons.

Can’t wait to try it out, very exciting new features.

Fixed. Thank you.

We’ve re-posted the 2.8 release with updated default configuration to address some of the installation issues related to our maven repository. Please download from the release page again to get the latest updates. Thank you!

There is a typo in the URL in the announcement from @Chris_Knoll - here is the corrected version of the second link - https://github.com/OHDSI/WebAPI/releases/tag/v2.8.0

We’ve released versions 2.8.1 of WebAPI and Atlas:

These release incorporate fixes we determined to be necessary to release prior to our next full release of Atlas/WebAPI 2.9.0.
