Does anyone have recommendations on resources to get users to buy in to use ATLAS over I2B2?
That is a very broad question. We have found that it comes down to use cases. The OMOP CDM and OHDSI Ecosystem (of which ATLAS is only a single set of utilities) offer a broad array of tools for outcomes research on RWD.
i2b2 was born during an era of Translational Biomedical Research with a focus on accelerating bench findings to bedside intervention.
An argument can be made that OHDSI tools can be used for the same purposes, however integration of -omics, biomarkers, molecular diagnostics and other ‘bench’ based findings (NGS etc.) is limited.
