Dear OHDSI community,
We may thrive on collaboration, but it’s time for a bit of competition!
As you know, the Book of OHDSI is coming soon. We’re excited about the progress we’ve made on the content, but we’re looking for a creative mind to tackle a cover design. Graphic design may not be located anywhere in the CDM, but we’re a community of problem solvers, right?
Here’s the competition: Create your ideal cover for the Book of OHDSI. For guidance on the format you can use the template below, although we’ll be happy to help you fit your design to this. Most common file formats will be accepted (PDF, PNG, JPG, PPTX, etc.). It should be true to the mission of the book, but also catch the eye of a potential patron who isn’t necessarily looking for it. All designs must be emailed to Martijn by Aug. 7, 2019. They will be posted anonymously to the forum for community feedback, but the final decision will be made by made by Martijn and David.
The winner, besides claiming the coveted “OHDSI Graphic Design Master” title, will sign over their design under CC0 license, have their design on the cover with proper attribution inside, and win a free copy of the book.
