I’ve heard a few folks mention they experienced difficulties last year getting reasonably priced accommodations for the OHDSI Symposium. While there is no official symposium hotel block, some of us on the planning committee are available to help folks navigate getting the best rate possible.
If you are looking for some help, please feel free to reach out to me. Book early! The closer we get to the symposium, the more difficult it may be to get a deal. 
For those who want to take advantage, you can use my hotel block at the Bethesda North Marriott. I negotiated two rates one for commercial and one for government employees.
