We are so pleased to announce that a recent project incorporating Korean local vocabulary into OMOP vocabulary is now available at HIR.
We incorporated the EDI vocabulary into OMOP vocabulary through several steps. We found that the quality of local vocabulary as controlled vocabulary has been improved through incorporation into OMOP vocabulary. I hope that this is helpful for Korean researchers and others who are trying to incorporate their own local vocabulary system into OMOP vocabulary.
