[Survey] Evaluation of A Data Suitability Framework for Observational Studies

At the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University, we developed a conceptual framework for assessing data suitability for observational studies. The Suitability Framework’s objective is to build a foundation for enabling the characterization and evaluation of the suitability of clinical databases for observational studies. This is intended to quantify clinical databases’ capacity for research reuse. For its evaluation, we would like to ask for your participation. Specifically, we are seeking your feedback as a professional who is experienced in working with clinical data for research.

The survey should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes of your time. It is voluntary and anonymous (NO personal identifiable information is recorded). All responses will be held in strictest confidence.
