OHDSI F2F Collaborator Meeting 23-24March2015 Planning

Team:

Thanks to @nigam for hosting, we’ll have our next OHDSI F2F Collaborator meeting on 23-24March2015 at Stanford University. This immediately precedes the 2015 AMIA Summit on Clinical Research Informatics in San Francisco, which many of us will be participating in.

To help us with planning, we’d like you to complete this very brief survey to let us know if you’re coming and what topics you’d like us to focus on:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/D7759XB

Space will be limited, so we need to get an accurate count and to have everyone RSVP through this survey.

Cheers,

Patrick

Friends,

We need to arrange rooms on campus for the meeting, and need a reliable
headcount. Please complete this very brief survey to let us know if you’re
coming and what topics you’d like us to focus on:

best regards,
Nigam.

Team: Please complete the surveymonkey about the next OHDSI F2F. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/D7759XB

We want to hear from you, whether you plan to come or not, so we can organize accordingly. Right now, only 20 folks have bothered to fill out the survey, but I know theres a lot more of you than that either going to AMIA or have expressed interest in participating,…

Cheers,

Patrick

Hi @Patrick_Ryan and @nigam:
Do we have any kind of tentative agenda and suggested hotels? I am just trying to make travel plans and it would be good to know meeting start and end times, and reasonably close by hotels that people might recommend.

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Agenda is not finalized yet. Other details are at:

regards,
Nigam.

@nigam and @Patrick_Ryan

Will the sessions be recorded for those who cannot attend in person.

Will there be a conference call/web ex for those who would like to attend for certain portions?

No plans to record, but that can be done. Yes we can have a Web cast for
remote attendees. There aren’t plans to do it yet, but if there is
interest, it’s easy to arrange.

Nigam.

I at least know the folks at ERASMUS MC in the Netherlands would be interested in the recording (Peter Rijnbeek and Marcel de Wilde).

I’m hoping there will be a conversation of the use of the cohort table and how that is translated into tools like CERCI and HERACLES (this stems from last weeks OHDSI call). @Patrick_Ryan, @schuemie, @Frank, and @Chris_Knoll are aware I have interest in this conversation - so hopefully it makes it on the agenda and I can join remotely .

I’ve found past OHDSI recorded presentations very helpful. I’d be
interested in tuning in by videoconference if possible as well.

Thank you,
Christophe

I’m also interested in joining a few of the sessions by videoconference (in
particular, anything on the medicare ETL, also XPRESS if it’ll be
discussed).

Thanks,
David

Another metoo from the East Coast brigade!

If there are any plans for phoning people in or recording could that be communicated. Also, has the agenda been settled?

We will post details on this thread soon. The agenda and other details are
at: http://shahlab.stanford.edu/ohdsi_meeting_2015

Nigam.
