I need your help. Qin Ye at AstraZeneca has prototyped a database summary and overview tool: http://a7552i.axshare.com/landing.html (only Marketscan is mocked up properly). It’s pretty cool. Imagine all data holders would run this on their CDM and publish this on the public internet for anybody to see what’s in there. Even those who are too anxious to even expose Achilles, leave alone anything deeper.
I am trying to convince him to make this think Public Domain and drop it into github.com/ohdsi. Also, he needs help from a design, architecture and library perspective. Can we have a session where we put some enthusiasm into him coming from the authors of the OHDSI suite, so he starts wanting to be part of it?
Sure @Christian_Reich, happy to participate and would be great to get Qin
Ye involved in the OHDSI community. Do you want to find some time this
week or next to discuss? Cheers, Patrick
I think that would be great Christian. There are a lot of cool ideas in
here and it would be great to get Qin connected to OHDSI. He could realize
a lot of his HCI / UX objectives (whether in Achilles, Heracles, or a new
tool) while leveraging our solid underlying infrastructure. (It’s tough to
build this stuff end-to-end from the ground up!)
