Corporate Roundtable at AMIA Joint Summits

All,

Signet Accel will be presenting a Corporate Roundtable on Wednesday 3/23 at 6PM. Although most of our software is model-driven and can be leveraged for a variety of data models, we’ll we discussing our use of the OMOP data model and other OHDSI tools for the establishment of federated clinical data sharing networks.

We hope to see you there.

Distributed Data Infrastructure for Clinical and Translational Research: Signet Accel

Speakers: William Stephens (CTO) and Dave Billiter MBA, PMP (COO)—Signet Accel

Signet Accel is supporting organizations and networks that are currently conducting groundbreaking studies to collect data from thousands of patients and utilizing sophisticated laboratories to store and analyze these data for areas like comparative effectiveness and clinical trial identification and design. These organizations have partnered with Signet Accel to enable a federated model for clinical and translational research, both within and between institutions. The approach requires syntactic and semantic harmonization of data sets and formalization of secure data integration. The Accelematics platform enables clinical and translational personnel to leverage patient phenotype data to guide selection of genomic data sets for analysis, enabling web-based querying and cohort discovery and presentation of high-level visualization of clinical data sets and data quality reporting. We will also cover the model for harnessing the innovations from universities to support the health care and life sciences vertical (technology commercialization).

Signet Accel, LLC was created from a Public-Private Partnership between Signet Enterprises and The Ohio State University.
