CDM V4 - CPRD Vocab question

I read through the CDM v4 transformation document of the CPRD. I am running into issues on mapping the staff.role to concept_id using the OMOP Vocabulary for CMS Speciality. Could you please guide if there was an intermediate mapping used in order to do this mapping? As per the mapping specification you have used J&J Vocabulary 208 Provider Role mapped to CMS specialty. I appreciate any guidance!

Hi Dave,
No intermediate mapping used. The source_code values in the 208 source_to_concept_map correspond to the ‘role’ field in the CPRD data. If your ‘role’ values are different than what appears in source_code, you will have to adjust your source_to_concept 208 mappings.
