Athena v1.10.0 was successfully released yesterday

New features presented with this release

  • Version of vocabulary is added to download screen #13
  • Search functionality is extended #60
  • Email notification for vocabulary update is implemented #53
  • Registered users are now able to share vocabularies #65

Different amendments and fixes

  • HemOnc license agreement is added into License popup #64
  • Copyright is updated #59
  • CPT4: improved error handling & overall refactoring

There is currently a system issue with email notifications from OHDSI ATHENA and ARACHNE. Our support team is working on resolving it. Should be fixed by tomorrow morning ET - we will keep you posted.

I want to inform that Athena v1.11.0 was released.

Here are the main changes and improvements:

  • Updated search logic (multiple fixes)
  • Fixed sorting
  • New Home page
  • Performance improvements
  • Fixed problem with password restore feature

@Konstantin_Yaroshove is being as ultra fact based as only a software engineer can be. :slight_smile:

If you haven’t noticed, Athena looks almost identical to the previous version, but drastically improved performance and relevance. You no longer see the spinning wheel much, and the order of things are much more useful, with the desired result very often in the top three hits. Thanks, guys.

This is excellent! and considerably faster indeed. The exact matching first is a feature I commonly used, and had to go to my local copy for it. However, is there a way to do a wildcard search? this is the second most common way I search the vocabulary.

ATHENA update was completed successfully.

CPT4 tool was updated to support both authentication methods: username/password or API key. Now you are free to migrate your UMLS account and to obtain API key for CPT4 vocabulary processing.

Outdated UMLS username/password authentication support was removed from CPT4 tool. Now it supports API key only.
