We have a use-case whereby we need to track patients being transferred into the ICU specifically to be treated for sepsis. The source data has a table that logs all patient movements between the various wards and it uses the same EpisodeID for all the movements. How can we use the OMOP CDM to track patient movements? Should we use the VISIT_OCCURRENCE table with unique VISIT_OCCURRENCE_IDs?
