Dear OHDSI friends,
I like to inform you that the second OHDSI Europe symposium will take place March 29th 2019 with two days of tutorials on March 30th and 31th in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Block your agenda’s if you plan to join.
The symposium is a platform to share results and ideas about the use of the OMOP-CDM, tool development, and future research studies. The day will include a collaborator showcase involving a poster session to highlight OHDSI’s research achievements and interactive demonstrations of OHDSI’s open-source software tools. Also this year we will have lightning talks from selected submissions.
The second European OHDSI Symposium called “The Journey from Data to Evidence” aims to explain how OHDSI’s methods and tools can be used to obtain reliable evidence. The focus this year will be on live demonstrations of the use of the tools to answer clinical questions.
This year there will be 5 tutorials over two days:
- CDM & Vocabularies
- ETL workshop
- Cohort Building in OMOP CDM with real data: Hands-on experience
- Patient-Level Prediction
- Population-Level Effect Estimation
