One condition maps to 2 condition concept ID, what to do?

Dear all,

Using source_to_concept_map for V4.5, I found a condition ICD10 source code ‘F19.94’ maps to 2 condition concept ID ‘444038’ and ‘4004672’, which are all valid currently. Which one should I pick?

Thanks for your help,

Maddy

@maddy:

Both. You make two records out of one.

Interesting. One stone two birds. Thank u!

Well, in this particular case it looks like a bug:
because 444038 PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCE-INDUCED ORGANIC MOOD DISORDER is a descendant of
4004672 PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER,
we’ll fix it in the future and there will be only "444038 PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCE-INDUCED ORGANIC MOOD DISORDER ". maybe it happened due to SNOMED hierarchy change
But in other cases if there is a mapping to several concepts, you should several records.

And it’s not ICD10 vocabulary, it’s ICD10CM. There are two different vocabularies. Please be aware.

Thanks very much for looking into this! Got it.
